Overview:
The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses.
Responsibilities:
Master and teach graduate course sections in one or more of the following areas:
- Foundations of School Counseling.
- Crisis Intervention.
- Counseling Theory and Techniques.
- Educational Psychology.
- Legal and Ethical Issues.
- Multicultural Counseling.
- Career Development.
Courses are pre-designed in a standard format. Participation in an Adjunct/Full Time Instructors Online Learning Community is expected.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree required, earned doctorate preferred, in School Counseling, School Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Successful graduate-level teaching experience, face-to-face and/or online.
- Successful leadership experience.
- Experience in course and program design.
- Commitment to multicultural urban education.
Maximum Salary:USD $4,000.00/SemMinimum Salary:USD $3,500.00/Sem
