School of Liberal Arts and SciencesFaculty FT - BiologyCairn University is experiencing exciting growth in our Biology and Pre-Med programs, and we are proactively seeking to expand our pool of qualified full-time faculty candidates in anticipation of future openings. While there is not an immediate need to fill a position, we expect opportunities to arise as our programs continue to develop and expand.We invite applications from individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students in a Christ-centered academic environment. By joining our applicant pool, you will be among the first to be considered for faculty positions as they become available.Other responsibilities include community and student life involvement, student advising, and committee participation. The candidate will also help to develop curriculum and courses. Candidates should be prepared to teach a minimum of 24 credits per academic year.Required Education and Experience
  • Master's Degree in Biology is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD.
  • Teaching experience is required. Experience teaching laboratory-based biology courses is also preferred.
