Job Description
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Clinician Researcher/Academic Clinician, Assistant/Associate Attending Physician, Gastrointestinal Oncology Service
The largest of MSK's clinical departments, the Department of Medicine encompasses experts in solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, subspecialty medicine and supportive and acute care services. Offering a range of services both in multiple sites in New York City and at their suburban outpatient locations in our Regional Care Network (RCN), DoM physicians oversee the care of the whole patient. The Gastrointestinal Oncology Service in the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Clinician Researcher and/or Academic Clinician at the Assistant Attending level, Associate Attending level, or higher, focused on the care of patients, education and research at one of our Regional Network locations (New Jersey, Long Island, etc.). The Gastrointestinal Oncology Service has an interest in the multidisciplinary care for patients with all Gastrointestinal malignancies. The responsibilities will include clinical expertise in patient care, clinical research, and teaching/ training. For this position, candidates should have a superb clinical and interpersonal skills, must also be a critical thinker, highly motivated, empathetic, and a team player.
Key Requirements:
* MD, DO, or equivalent.
* Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology.
* New York and/or New Jersey State License Eligible.
* Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting.
Salary Range: $235,000.00 - $520,000.00
