JOB SUMMARY:

Join the Center for Hope as a Bilingual Family Advocate and be a key player in our mission to prevent violence and support survivors. You will assist clients throughout the process of the Child Advocacy Center program at Center for Hope. This position is critical to helping clients stay informed and connected to the investigation and prosecution process, reduce distress, and obtain supportive and healing services. You will work with our multidisciplinary partners including law enforcement, child protective services and prosecutors. Your expertise in victim advocacy. Child maltreatment and exploitation will be crucial. If you are proactive, compassionate, and committed to social justice, we invite you to join our dedicated team at the Center for Hope.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology or related field
  • Minimum one year experience in field of childhood trauma, sexual abuse and intimate partner violence preferred
  • Knowledge of child development, child sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect preferred
  • Some evening hours up to 7 pm
