Requirements:
- Experience working as an attorney for a family law firm.
- Admission to the New Jersey State Bar in good standing.
- Broad understanding of the complexities of family law and litigation.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Not afraid to ask questions or work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- A compassionate and client-focused approach to legal practice.
- Ability to work independently and effectively on a case from beginning to end.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters.
- Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice tailored to each client's unique situation.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and settlement proposals.
- Represent clients in family court proceedings and mediations.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests both in and out of court.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in New Jersey family law.
- Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing communication and support throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve successful outcomes for clients and provide exceptional service.
