Their New York office is seeking an experienced Family Law Partner to join their team and provide the exceptional advocacy and personalised attention their clients deserve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel in high-net-worth divorce cases, ensuring clients' financial and personal interests are protected.
- Oversee cases involving child custody, child support, spousal support, relocation, and grandparent visitation while maintaining privacy and discretion.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and negotiations, managing all aspects of family law cases, including settlement agreements and courtroom appearances.
- Address complicated valuation issues and ensure a fair division of assets, including businesses, property, and other high-value assets.
- Serve as a dedicated advocate, maintaining open communication and fighting for the best outcomes in delicate family law matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Extensive experience in family law, with a proven track record of handling high-profile, high-net-worth cases.
- Extensive courtroom experience with the ability to litigate and negotiate complex divorce, custody, and support cases.
- Strong knowledge of New York family law statutes and their application in high-stakes cases.
