We treat patients coming from all walks of life in one of our multiple outpatient clinic settings. We have an exciting and dynamic new role for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team of Providers, nurses, and medical assistants in our outpatient clinic located near Hempstead NY. This position would be full time permanent with a comprehensive benefits package. You would be working with patients mostly ages 25-50 years old. No on call or weekends are included in this role. Title: Family Nurse Practitioner Location: Nassau County, NY Salary: $130,000 to $150,000+ bonus potential Benefits: Health, Life, Disability, malpractice, vision, dental, 401k retirement, PTO, Flexible spending, CME Credit, Loan repayment Responsibilities: Performing physical exams for patients in outpatient clinic setting Follow up visits Documenting all notes in EMR system Participating in team meetings when applicable Prescribing medication when necessary Working with patients suffering from various forms of medical illnesses Speaking with patient's family members when necessary Ordering X rays and blood tests Reviewing patient medical history charts Requirements: Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate of Accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program Active New York FNP License Preferred 1 year of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner experience.
