As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), you will join a multidisciplinary team in a school-based health center setting to provide students with on-site access to comprehensive clinical services, including integrated primary medical, preventive, dental, and mental health care and a diverse array of health education and health promotion services. Utilize your two or more years experience in School Based Health Center & Reproductive Health to provide comprehensive physical examinations, first aid, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions as well health education; adolescent pregnancy prevention services and education. We seek the ability to work & make decisions independently, problem solve, lead others & share innovative ideas. Great communication & organizational skills. School Based Health Center services are coordinated with the students, their parents, their pediatricians, and other community- based providers. This is a 8am-4pm full time, day shift position for 12 months/year Preferred: Minimum of two years School Based Health or Adolescent Ambulatory Care experience Bilingual English/Spanish Required: Masters degree in Advanced Practice (PNP or FNP) Current NYS RN and NP licensure Board Certification (PNP or FNP) BLS Certification through the AHA Minimum of two years NP experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and triage skills Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
