Job Description:

Busy business owner in the Philadelphia area is in search of a Family Assistant. The individual will be required to drive and go between house (Bala Cynwyd) and offices (Philadelphia and Bala Cynwyd) as well as locally to stores to pick up things. She needs someone to run errands like mailing things off, returning items, purchasing items, etc. for both home and office. Office items get delivered to the house which need to be moved to the office and stocked. May need to drive or pick up kids/dog occasionally. The household consists of a 6 year old, a 2 year old, and a small dog. Office work would be to fill in as a receptionist, scribe, or assistant at times. A big plus would be someone with organizational skills and a can do positive attitude. Other duties would include stocking items such as cleaning supplies for the office or like buying cakes, party supplies, presents, etc. on the personal side. Multi-tasking and technology proficiency is a must. Some minor accounting skills and book keeping is helpful. Also strong social skills with the ability to get along with people and be friendly since there will be answering of phone calls, scheduling, booking, emailing, etc. Good clear communications is a must. Able to anticipate and get tasks done in a quick manner. Familiar with editing and posting on social media. Quick and responsive. Able to complete tasks in a fast manner. Very motivated self starter is the type of personality they need since multi tasking and good memory is needed. The ideal candidate must have a car and be a safe driver, who is mild mannered, patient and friendly. We need people who are clean and organized, who respond quickly. Able to multi task well without getting frustrated. Dependable and reliable. Punctual. We prefer someone familiar and can use apple products efficiently and are tech savyy. Good with social media and editing. Good phone, email, texting etiquette was fast responses. A self starter that is able to anticipate people's needs and can readily help without having to be told what to do. Good communicator who is precise and clear...and will ask questions if they need clarity or guidance. This person should have pride in their work and keep a clean well kept appearance with proper polite manners. Flexible person who is able to adapt quickly to different situations. Quick learner with good time management. Easy to get along with most people. Good documentation skills. About the Family Adults: 2 Children: 2 (2 & 6) Dogs: 1 Position Requirements

  • Work Hours: Part time (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 7AM to 5PM, could be flexible for the right person, but definitely needs Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Languages: Vietnamese or Cantonese is a plus, but not required
  • Experience: Similar experience required
  • References: Minimum of 2 References
  • Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
  • Personality Test required
  • Drug test required
Position Compensation
  • Salary: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience
