Key Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluation and Treatment:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and diagnosing health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in accordance with the scope of practice.
- Provide ongoing care and follow-up to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Documentation and Billing:
- Accurately document patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Complete and close patient charts and code/bill within 24-48 hours following each patient visit to ensure timely documentation and revenue cycle management.
Review and Management of Lab and diagnostic imaging results. :
- Review and interpret patient laboratory results, diagnostic tests, and imaging reports ordered.
- Take appropriate actions based on review of patient's records and test results, including making/requesting follow up visits, referrals or adjustments to treatment plans.
Team Leadership and Support:
- Provide leadership and mentorship for medical staff, including medical assistants, receptionists, and virtual assistants, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
Team Meetings and Education:
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient care, practice updates, and operational issues.
- Attend monthly provider education meetings to stay informed about best practices, new developments, and continuing medical education.
- Meet all continuous education requirements to maintain licensure and stay current with medical advancements, completing a minimum of 20 hours of relevant professional development annually.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other healthcare providers and team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively and timely with patients, families, and team members to address concerns, provide education, and support patient needs.

Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and relevant board certification.
- Valid state medical license, CDS and DEA registration. Not required to apply for the position.
- Proven experience in a primary care setting with a strong understanding of patient management.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
