Overview:

Responsible for inputting and maintaining accurate data into computer systems and databases. Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data by verifying and reviewing data entered. May also be responsible for basic data analysis, report generation, and data quality control.

Starting Rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Verifies data accuracy and completeness by reviewing for errors or discrepancies; includes contacting enrolled or eligibility list participants.
  • Ensures timely input and processing of data according to established deadlines.
  • Conducts basic data analysis and generating reports as requested.
  • Responds to queries and provides information regarding data as required.
  • Enters and updates data accurately and efficiently into computer systems and databases
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, regarding data entry and security.
  • Works directly with enrolled or eligibility list participants.
  • Designs and conducts surveys, questionnaire and focus group events with enrolled or eligibility list participants.
  • Provides direct family support to the team as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Possession of pediatric (infant/toddler) CPR and first aid certificate.
  • Must possess or obtain credential/certification in data entry concepts and techniques, including data retrieval, data organization and documentation, within 18 months of hire.
  • Must possess or obtain credential/certification in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, within 24 months of hire.
  • Must complete California-mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training as well as Pesticide Safety Training (per Healthy Schools Act).
  • Proven experience in Data Entry or similar role.
  • 1 year clerical experience.
  • 1 year supporting and coordinating Family Support involvement, resources,
  • families goals and transitions.
  • Experience planning and implementing activities for an agency or organization.
  • Experience developing rapport with diverse families of very young children.
  • Proven experience in Data Entry or similar role.
