Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a part time Family Visitation Specialist. This individual monitors and supervises family visitation services. They also provide supervision for the entirety of the visit according to protocols.
- Observes family visitation and interactions. Ensures child safety during family visitations by observing visits and facilitating healthy interactions as needed.
- Engages family and assess their needs for interventions if necessary.
- Shares positive parenting intervention strategies as necessary with parent to support positive, healthy, interactions.

- Documents observations from visits (strengths and concerns) on required form to be submitted to the court.
- Ensures that the family visitation space is set up and cleaned up appropriately.
- Ensures the visit is in accordance with court documents and agency policies and procedures.
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of one year clinical experience in working with children and families.
