Join Purdue University Fort WayneWe are seeking a passionate and creative Fan Engagement and Marketing Coordinator (34933) to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to engage fans, build brand loyalty, and drive ticket sales. You will work closely with various departments to create memorable fan experiences and maximize revenue opportunities. The pay for this position is $39,000.00 - $43,000.00.
Primary Responsibilities: - Fan Engagement: Develop and implement engaging fan experiences, including social media campaigns, contests, and in-venue activations.
- Manage and grow fan communities on social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to fan feedback and inquiries on social media and other channels.
- Organize and execute fan events, meet-and-greets, and other fan-centric activities.
- Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote events and drive ticket sales.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, and promotional flyers.
- Create and collaborate with others to produce visually appealing marketing assets.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize future efforts.
- Ticket Sales: Support the ticket sales team in achieving sales goals.
- Assist with the development and implementation of ticket sales strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in marketing and social media engagement.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team setting and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail and proficient in photoshop and Microsoft.
- Foster a professional culture that emphasizes respect, sportsmanship, accuracy, service, collaboration and teamwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work nights, weekend and some holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in Athletics in a game operations/event management capacity and marketing/promotions.
- Experience preferred in coordinating athletic marketing materials with a clear understanding of branding.
