This role is perfect for someone with a deep love for fantasy football and the ability to produce engaging content across media. You will be responsible for delivering timely, insightful and entertaining coverage of breaking news, player updates, rankings and trends within the fantasy football landscape. We're looking for a candidate who can quickly identify the biggest stories and bring them to life in a way that keeps our audience informed and engaged across platforms.What You'll Do:
- Surface unique angles and insights on player performances, waiver wire pickups, trade strategies and weekly rankings that fantasy football enthusiasts rely on.
- Create rankings, start/sit advice, waiver wire recommendations and comparisons that drive conversation and add value to readers' fantasy strategies.
- Provide timely analysis on compelling player news, injury reports, game-day developments, ranking shifts and other fantasy-relevant updates.
- Monitor social media, analytics tools and fantasy platforms to track emerging trends and stories in the fantasy football world.
- Engage with followers on social media and create compelling posts that inform and entertain our audience.
- Craft engaging headlines and use SEO and social media strategies to grow audiences and boost engagement with fantasy football content.
- Utilize our in-house content management system (CMS) to build engaging articles, videos and social posts that enhance the reader's experience.
The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $85,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.
Requirements- At least three years of experience in fantasy football coverage.
- A proven ability to create engaging, insightful content tailored to fantasy football fans, focusing on unique insights.
- An advanced understanding of the digital media landscape, including SEO and social media traffic drivers.
- Strong editorial judgment, writing and communication skills with an ability to simplify complex information for a wide audience.
- On-screen video and audio experience in the fantasy football space.
- A spirit of enthusiasm and collaboration.
