Job Description:

Gpac has partnered with a Agriculture company in NW Kansas who is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a large crew of employees, managing crop production, ordering, commodity storage, equipment logistics and maintenance, and contributing to the success of the farm. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader to join a dynamic and thriving organization.This position would require relocation to NW Kansas!Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate activities of farm employees, including planting and harvest.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a crop production plan and schedule for the calendar year.
  • Maintain and operate farm equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Communicate and propose new ideas and suggestions for improving profitability and efficiency of the farm.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years simular experience in agriculture management/Farm Operations Management is required
  • Proficiency in operating farm equipment and knowing technology.
  • Familiarity with grain storage
