All workers should be physically able to meet and perform the work outlined in the contract for the entire period of time from 1/20/2025 to 11/20/2025. We need seasonal employees to assist with our corn, wheat and soybean growing season. Employees will assist with all aspects of raising these crops. In January we spray winter wheat and begin moving grain. We plant, grow and harvest our crops. After harvest and drilling in fall, there is a period of general farm maintenance, washing, and shop work. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, seed drills, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery, operate equipment to harvest crops, drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.The confirmed adverse effect wage rate for the area of employment is $15.14 per hour for 2023. Wages are paid weekly. The employer guarantees to offer a least 3/4 of the hours listed in the contract. Worker's compensation insurance will be provided.The employer must provide free housing and three meals a day or furnish free convenient cooking kitchen facilities to all workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence the same day. If the employer elects to provide meals, a maximum of $15.88 per day may be charged to the employee. The employer will provide the necessary tools, supplies and equipment at no cost to the worker.Workers should be able to bend, stoop and able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Workers should be able to lift from 20 to 75 pounds.Must have 3 months variable experience.Workers may be asked to submit to random drug testing.
