As a Farmhouse Fresh to Go Food Service Manager you will be entrusted to guide your team members in preparing the highest quality Farmhouse Fresh Food in our To Go concept while delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. You will drive operational excellence, and create a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values.Responsibilities:* Lead by Example and show your team what a quality Farmhouse Fresh Food 2 Go experience should look like for our guests.* Ensure that your team greets and interacts with all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.* Build and develop a strong unit team by leading effectively: Hire for attitude, build and maintain trust, set clear and measurable goals, hold self and others accountable, position team members for success through training, coaching, delegating and communicating frequently. Empower team members to 'make it right' for our guests.* Address team member performance or behavior issues quickly and fairly to keep the team strong.* Achieve operational excellence and hit financial objectives. (Sales/expenses to budget, net profit).* Work cohesively with the Cumberland Farms Store Manager in the common areas to manage and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the unit (inside and out), delegating and directing your team to assist with maintaining condition levels up to Company standard.* Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines in place for successful food service operations. Manage product levels so that we have what our guests' desire and achieve the Company goal of 100% in-stock at all times.* Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the VP of Culinary and Food Service.Working Relationships: Unit team members, VP of Culinary and Food Service, Food Service Team, District Manager, Region Manager, VP, Company personnel, and various vendors.RequirementsMinimum Education: High School or GEDMinimum Experience: 1 year leadership or supervisory capacity in retail or restaurant environment, leading a teamPreferred Experience: 1-3 years leadership experienceLicenses/Certifications: Serv Safe Certified a plus but not mandatorySoft Skills: • Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members • High energy • Ability to move from one activity to another quickly • Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help othersOther:Scheduling: This position is full-time) and primarily works days, however, may at times need to work a variety of hours depending on business needs (days, nights, weekends & Holidays).Travel: 5% to attend meetingsHours & Conditions: 50 regular hours/ 10 hour work daySpecialized work attire requirements: (hats or visors, gloves, etc. - provided)Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk 10 hours a day; ability to lift 40 lbs., reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in freezer and cooler (cold temperatures).
