Reports Directly to: Land Grant Director

Status: Exempt; Full-time

Salary: $50,000

Summary of Duties:

The FARMS Project Operations Program Coordinator is a pivotal figure in ensuring the smooth integration and operation of programs with the FARMS Engine. Serving as the primary bridge between United Tribes Technical College and FARMS, this role emphasizes efficient management, clear communication, and fostering strong, productive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the grant lifecycle, from application and selection to monitoring and reporting. Ensure that grants are used appropriately and that milestones are met.

* Communicates timely and consistent project progress with the Land Grant Director, and others, as requested.

* Serve as the primary point of contact between UTTC and FARMS, ensuring that all parties are aligned, informed, and working collaboratively.

* Implement and refine operational processes that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of activities.

* Facilitate regular check-ins and updates between UTTC and FARMS leadership, ensuring transparency and addressing any concerns promptly.

* Integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility principles, encouraging a broad spectrum of innovative ideas and participants.

* Organize workshops and training sessions for sub-grantees, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed for success.

* Monitor and report on the progress and performance of sub-grantees, ensuring that organizational goals are being met and providing insights for continuous improvement.

* Address and resolve any challenges or conflicts that arise between UTTC and FARMS, ensuring a harmonious and productive partnership.

* Shares student club advising responsibilities that may include evening and weekend hours.

* Participates in Land Grant department activities that may occur in the evening and weekends.

* Actively participates in college-sponsored professional development activities and department meetings.

* Serves on institutional committees as requested.

* Complies with college policies, plans, and Procedures.

* Performs all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the College.

Supervisory Responsibilities: none

Working Conditions:

* General office conditions

* Normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

* One-hour lunch break

* Position will require occasional travel that includes evenings and weekends

Physical Demands:

* Move about inside an office and classroom.

* Operate a computer and other office/classroom equipment.

* Occasionally move, transport, or position up to 20 pounds.

* May need to ascend/descend stairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.

* Minimum of 3 consecutive years of experience in grant management experience required.

Knowledge & Skills:

* Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and conflict resolution.

* Proficiency in grant management software and tools.

* Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships, with a balance of assertiveness and diplomacy.

* Adept at juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that all sub-grantees feel supported and valued.

* Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the community is essential.
