Duties may vary from time to time. Workers primary responsibility will be driving semi-trucks with hopper trailers from harvest site to on farm bin location or from harvest site; closely monitor road signs and conditions; check equipment to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; inspect load. During period of little to no hauling, workers will be expected to perform manual labor tasks associated with fall harvest which may include driving a tractor and grain cart, as well as other miscellaneous duties in and around the shop, including but not limited to small tool work, torch welding, machinery repair, and other daily maintenance.In view of the statutorily established basic function of the ES as a no-fee labor exchange, that is, as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the ETA nor the SWAs are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers.
