We are currently in search of an experienced Fast Track Clinician for our Burtonsville, MD location. The Fast Track Clinician at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ( Kolmac or the Company ) is responsible for responding to immediate requests for clinical evaluations of patients. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated to helping people with substance use disorders (SUD) to access immediate help.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts telephonic or online clinician evaluations on patients calling for withdrawal management and outpatient addiction treatment
  • Documents clinical evaluations and interactions in the EHR
  • Clearly explains the Kolmac program and what to expect in treatment
  • Motivates prospective patients to engage in treatment at Kolmac
  • Maintains communication with the intake, clinical, and withdrawal management teams
  • Outreach and patient engagement
  • Coordinates recommendations for all appropriate support services, including referral sources, family members, and other support providers
  • Has experience with Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma informed care approaches
  • Completes necessary documentation, for example: ASAM level of care criteria, documents call with referral sources, etc.
  • Perform special studies, projects, other duties as requested by the Director of admissions.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • CAC-AD
  • Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have a clinical credential in the state of Maryland and must complete licensure application process for DC/VA within 90 days employment
  • Experience conducting evaluations for SUD
  • Experience working with people receiving withdrawal management services and/or MAT
