A remote capacity will be considered for the beginning of this position prior to the istablished office.We are seeking an experienced Federal Capture Manager to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. You will lead our efforts to identify, pursue, and win federal government contracts, driving our organization's growth in the public sector market. This role is essential for securing contracts with government agencies and ensuring the success of our federal initiatives
- Focus on identifying and shaping opportunities within the US Public Sector via the use of systems such as FedBizOps and Gov.Win driving pipeline development with both US Federal Government customers and Prime Contractors (including their sub-contractors)
- Develop and implement detailed capture plans to secure federal contracts, ensuring they align with strategic goals
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of high-value opportunities at federal agencies, from early identification to proposal submission
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with federal agencies, key decision-makers, and partners to influence acquisition strategies and position
- Identify and assess federal opportunities that align with corporate goals, ensuring resources are directed towards winnable pursuits
- Plan, organize, manage and lead matrixed proposal team members in developing proposal plans and outlines, developing win themes, assigning roles and responsibilities towards developing a complete, compliant proposal as required by the RFP/solicitation
- Create compelling bid strategies that address the needs and challenges of US Federal customers
- Analyze competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and strategies to allow refinement of proposals to counter or better them
- Engage with potential customers early in the acquisition process to effectively shape requirements and position Beyond Identity's capabilities
- Apply industry best practices, such as the Shipley process, to refine and enhance capture management processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in federal capture management or related field
- Proven track record of successful contract wins in the federal sector
- In-depth knowledge of federal contracting processes and procurement regulations
- Strong skills in proposal writing, project management, and business development
- Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence gathering
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- APMP certification preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of defense and/or civilian agency procurement processes
