As part of that growth, we need an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to perform maintenance on site at our feed mill located in Henry, TN. The feed mill produces over 7,000 tons of feed each week. The Feed Mill Maintenance position will be able to work days Monday through Friday 6a-4p & respond to emergency calls after hours. We are the #1 pork producer in the state of Tennessee and top #25 in the nation!The Feed Mill Maintenance Generalist is an hourly position/pay level grade (5 plus) that reports to the Feed Mill Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing diagnosing and repairing all equipment and completing daily work orders in the feed mill.What You DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipmentInspect equipment, structures, or material to identify causes of error or defectsCommunicate with essential personnelComplete work orders in a timely mannerPerform preventative maintenanceLead and mentor Maintenance HelpersWho You AreHeavy equipment operations experience preferredSelf-motivatedAbility to multi-taskAble to work extended hours/weekends as neededGeneral knowledge of equipment and controlsWork Monday through Friday 6a-4pPhysical RequirementsAbility to climb up and down ladders safely, walk up and down steps, and work at heights to measure binsCan lift/carry/push/pull at least fifty (50) poundsAbility to work outside, including in inclement weatherAble to stand and walk for the majority of each day#J-18808-Ljbffr
