Our company's measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our successThe Feed Mill Receiver loads and unloads feed trucks at the feed mill and tests samples of all incoming ingredients.Essential Duties, Functions, and ResponsibilitiesThe qualified applicant will possess the following KSAOs:* Load/Unload Feed trucks* Accurately document loading and unloading data on receiving and shipping logs and tickets* Unpack all ingredients and medication supplies and verify packing lists* Sample and test ingredients prior to unloading trucks* Daily basic housekeeping (sweeping, trash, cleaning) and maintenance* Other assigned duties as neededBasic computer skills* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (40+ feet), including catwalks* Ability to Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification* Ability to work in seasonal, outdoor conditions (hot, cold, or wet conditions)* Ability to lift up to 60 pounds* Ability to walk, stand, climb for extended periods of time* Basic reading and writing skillsApplicants must meet the following minimum qualifications in order to be considered for this position:* No minimum education requirement; high school diploma or equivalent preferred* No previous work experience required* Previous experience in a light to medium industrial setting preferred, with preference give to individuals who have previously worked in a feed millMust be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as required, including weekends, holidays, and other shiftsThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of what is required of personnel so classified.
