Job Overview:

This role will be primarily assigned to the Rhode Island Bioenergy Facility in Providence, Rhode Island. This position is responsible for coordinating feedstock deliveries, building and maintaining relationships with existing feedstock suppliers, and working to identify, originate, and secure new and potential feedstock suppliers throughout the New England area. The position will need to conduct boots on the ground research to determine tipping fee pricing strategies and appropriate market pricing.

Job Responsibilities:

* Work to source new feedstock suppliers in the New England area that can provide organic material to the RIBF facility.

* Negotiate with haulers and feedstock suppliers to establish market-appropriate contracts to secure feedstock for the RIBF facility.

* Monitor the day-to-day activities of the feedstock receiving status at RIBF.

* Coordinating with truck dispatches for the number of deliveries each day.

* Review the entered weigh tickets for accuracy.

* Build weekly and monthly reports reflecting total feedstock deliveries.

* Build forecasts for anticipated feedstock deliveries and develop possibilities for new feedstock deliveries.

* Assisting plant operations as needed.

* Collect production data and understand adjustments to plant operating conditions that may be required based on the variety of feedstock that can be secured into the facility. Examples of production data would include but are not limited to lab analysis, plant SCADA historian data, and field logs.

* Collect and send feedstock samples to lab for analysis.

* Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Work in a clean manner.

* Flexibility in working longer hours or weekend work will be needed.

* Any additional tasks requested by your supervisor to effectively operate and maintain the RIBF facility and receive equipment safely, safely, and efficiently.

Job Requirements:

* Desire to take ownership of a role and drive high levels of effort based on goal setting.

* Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.

* BS in business, marketing, sales - preferred.

* Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience

Requires a minimum of (1) to three (3) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

The Feedstock Coordinator & Origination role has the following skills:

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with feedstock suppliers.

* Has strong communication skills, both written & verbal.

* Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices.

* Familiarity with contract structures and negotiations.

* Ability to understand and show competency to understand integrated plant systems effectively.

* Ability to process analytical plant production data to determine the correct course of action regarding feedstock selection for the facility.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

* Must be able to plan and schedule individual workload without close supervision.

* Active listening skills are required.

* Must understand the long-term needs of the customers, both internal and external, and be driven to meet those needs.

* Commitment to business ethics.

* Fluent in English.
