Fernley Extrusion Operator
Decueninck is lseeking for a dedicated Production Operator for our Fernley, NV Facility. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for performing product checks, stacking and packing product in the appropriate receptacles. This role requires an individual who can perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Starting wage $20.00, plus a $2.00 shift differential for nights we are currently hiring for a days this is a 2-2-3 schedule 7am - 7pm.
Core Responsibilities:
* Perform all duties safely by following company policies and procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
* Properly identify and label carts and packages.
* Accurately enter data in the MES system.
* Maintain the packing standard set forth by DNA.
* Relieve other associates as assigned for lunches and breaks.
* Ensure assigned areas are free from water or oil on the floor.
* Collaborate with team members and assist as needed.
Qualifications:
* Ability to read a tape measure.
* Proficiency in using calipers.
* Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Education:
* High School diploma or (GED) required.
Physical Demands:
* Regularly required to stand and walk for duration of 12 hour shift.
* Use hands to finger, handle or feel.
* Reach with hands and arms.
* Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl,
* Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds and/or move up to 100 pounds with a lifting partner
* Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to focus.
