Responsible for the safe and efficient placement of underground fiber conduits and drops to the home or business. Is the subject matter expert for the drop technicians and contracted resources engaged in drop installations. Ensures internal and external resources are adhering to all ALLO processes and procedures. Trains and mentors drop team members. Maintains customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving solutions. Collaborates on the development and implementation of drop team tools, resources and documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors workload and production levels in order to meet demand
- Daily directs and assists resources with job prioritization.
- Initial point of escalation for customer concerns related to drop issues.
- Ensures all material, equipment and supplies are available for internal and external resources.
- Work directly with Allo partners (City Representatives, Locate Companies, Contractors) to maintain a positive and productive relationship.
- Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting conditions daily and maintaining a valid driver's license.
- Available for call out situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of fiber construction experience
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of fiber construction and material.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and GIS/CAD.
- Skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, contractors and company employees.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
