Our client is looking for a seasoned expert in fiber optics to join forces with our client, a trailblazer in amplifying network infrastructure and in-building wireless solutions. This Fiber Technician is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of fiber optic networks, contributing to the success of high-capacity communication systems.

Focus:

  • Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic cabling in various environments, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to fiber optics, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques and utilizing optical testing equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient network performance and address any challenges in a timely manner.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on fiber optics to verify integrity and optimize system performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber optic installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Skill Set:

  • Proven expertise in fiber optics and cabling, with a strong foundation in installation and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting fiber optic systems, with a solid understanding of optical technologies.
  • Previous hands-on experience with fiber optic cables, connectors, and associated equipment.
  • Certification in fiber optics or a related technical field is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Technical certification in fiber optics or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and network capacity enhancement projects highly preferred.
