FICC Desk Strat - Team Expansion

A leading international investment bank in their NYC office is undergoing an aggressive expansion of their Fixed Income trading desk. They are looking to hire three additional desk strats as soon as possible. Positions are available at the Associate, VP, or Director level.

About the Role:

You will be an integral part of a dynamic trading desk, contributing to the pricing of complex transactions, developing risk management strategies, and providing analytical support to traders. Led by an industry legend, they're looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit who are motivated to help grow their market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing models for the trading desk
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the trading desk across derivatives pricing, volatility calibration and curve building.
• Create and implement risk management strategies.
• Collaborate closely with traders and effectively communicate abstract ideas

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing pricing and risk management models for IR derivatives/ABS/CLO products.
• Proficiency in Python and either Java or C++
• Strong understanding of business logic and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced environment.
