Non-permanent expected to last six months.Closes: Monday November 11, 2024Salary: $3,700.00 - $4,968.00 Monthly. The listed salary does not include the 5% premium pay granted to all King County employees.We are searching for a detail-oriented individual with outstanding customer service skills to join our team as a Fiscal Analyst 2.The Opportunity:As a Fiscal Analyst, you will provide fiscal, business, and record-keeping support for management in a Regional Office. You will perform duties including record keeping, reconciling financial reports, budgeting, and purchasing for both this office and regional assignments. This position supports the Regional Business Operations Manager with local office, regional, and Headquarters assignments, contracts, and monitoring. The Fiscal Analyst provides direct support to the supervisor through coordination/preparation/completion of documents including budget/expenditure control, equipment/supplies purchases, report preparation, and records maintenance.Some of what you will do:Interpret payment documents for compliance with contractual terms.Process purchases, maintain purchasing records, and resolve problems.Review, approve and allocate purchase expenditures to the proper budget and category.Ensure compliance with agency policies, rules, and regulations.Prepare, compile, and distribute fiscal reports.Review, compile, and process payments of invoices, reimbursements, etc. ensuring compliance with agency policies, rules, and regulations.Make FamLink payments for client services from social service specialists' authorizations.Analyze, identify, and assist field staff to comply with mandates and regulations to maximize federal funding opportunities for accurate and timely payments.Ensure approval signatures and process for Exceptional Cost Plan (ECP) and Exception to Policy (ETP) requirements are met for requested services.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree OR Equivalent education/experience totaling four (4) years.In addition to those required qualifications, our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following:Bachelor's degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one to two years of relevant professional experience.
