This position serves in support of inspections & testing projects and performs office tasks that complement the Consultant's & Field Technician's activities. It involves the production of Inspection Results (Elv3 forms) and various other reports, including maintenance evaluations & audits. The right person for this role will have superb time management skills, advanced Excel & Word capabilities, and good customer skills. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.
  • Complete Inspection Results (Elv3 forms), Templates, Audit reports, or additional information for Inspectors and Consultants based on their workload.
  • Assist with the production of reports needed for clients, including formatting and proofreading in Excel, Word, or PowerPoint based on weekly business operations.
  • Provide reports to management as requested.
  • Assist with any necessary project reporting on an ongoing weekly basis.
  • Assist with making and receiving calls, relaying messages, and coordinating between Consultants in a professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain electronic project files.
  • Ensure a functioning, well-run electronic, paperless office.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Perform routine office filing.
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous success in an administrative professional role required.
  • Previous experience in the Elevator industry (preferred).
  • Previous experience with report writing (preferred).
  • The ability to take personal accountability and initiative in getting the job done.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to work on many different projects at one time.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to build relationships.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel and Word.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.
  • The ability to work independently with little or no direction, organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.
