This role serves the southern third of Illinois, with Springfield as the northern boundary, and is ideal for individuals residing in Metro St. Louis, Springfield, or Marion areas.This position is unique, with a strong emphasis on customer service (35%), making personality, demeanor, and communication skills just as important as technical expertise. Your work as a Loss Control Consultant will play a crucial role in helping our municipal clients protect public safety and reduce risks, creating a lasting impact on the communities we serve.Responsibilities:Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by conducting service visits, providing written evaluations, and offering tailored safety recommendations.Loss Control Expertise: Inspect workplace environments, identify risk exposures, and develop actionable strategies to mitigate losses.Training & Education: Deliver engaging safety training programs and presentations to enhance client awareness and compliance.Data Analysis: Monitor client loss trends through CCMSI's systems, conduct evaluations, and recommend proactive solutions.Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to address exposure trends and develop future service plans.Documentation: Maintain accurate records in accordance with CCMSI's service standards.Qualifications:About YouCustomer Focused: You possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to build strong client relationships.Independent & Motivated: You thrive in a field-based environment, effectively managing your schedule and delivering exceptional service with minimal supervision.Technically Proficient: You have a background in occupational safety, risk management, or related fields, and are comfortable with data analysis and Microsoft Office.Education & Certifications: A degree in safety, risk management, or a related field is preferred.
