The company emphasizes customer satisfaction, timely service, and technical precision, making it a trusted partner in measurement and calibration needs.The Field Calibration Technician is responsible for independently testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting a range of test and measurement instruments, adhering to established protocols. This role involves managing and documenting instrument specifications, handling customer databases, and ensuring quick turnaround times for equipment. The technician works under the guidance of Lead Calibration Technicians when collaborating as a team member and reports directly to the Regional Service Manager. Key responsibilities include using customer, vendor, and equipment databases and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management.The role involves 85% travel to the customers nationally and 15% work at your local office/lab. You should be prepared to travel to your customers' locations across the country Monday through Friday and arrive home for the weekend. Sometimes your work will be in the local market, and you will use a company vehicle to drive to the customer's locations.
