Position Description:

The Sr Field Compensation Representative is responsible for providing quality customer service to our Broker Dealer (AIC) producers, representatives, and other partners on complex customer service inquiries/requests. This position is accountable to ensure internal and external records are completed accurately and timely within regulatory guidelines.

Position Location

  • This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

What you do:

  • Collaborate with customers on complex situations through written and verbal correspondence to discuss various contract provisions.
  • Perform accounting functions as required for the business area.
  • Verify and approve commissions for new business and renewal runs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to AIC Registered Representatives and internal partners; respond within AIC 24hr minimum service standard.
  • Identify and appropriately code commission statements from securities vendors for input into commission system.
  • Enter commission payment information into commission system via batch processing for bimonthly commission runs.
  • Process electronic commission and advisory fee files received from the DTCC, National Financial, Ameritas Investment Partners, ALIC, and third-party vendors daily/quarterly as received.
  • Prepare daily deposit of checks, including cash receipt entry in commission system and deposit accounting.
  • Daily bank account settlement tracking and verification.
  • Daily accounting of all securities transactions entered.
  • Cross-train to cover other department functions/support the Processing Team.
  • Timely maintenance of department filing systems for the reference of all Commissions Team members, including Imaging, Vendor Reference Documents, and other modes of rep research documentation.
  • Create/maintain up-to-date procedures for daily processes.
  • Maintain flexibility to best meet the priorities of the department.
  • Train and mentor other associates within business area.
  • May participate as a subject matter expert for projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years related experience required.
  • Previous Payroll, Compensation, Accounting, Finance, and/or Banking experience is a plus!
  • Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage and meet required deadlines and SLAs.

The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled.
