job summary: Global manufacturer is seeking a Field Installation Technician to add to their team in the Adams, NY area. The ideal candidate will be open to weekly regional travel to install electromechanical equipment. Company vehicle provided. Electrical experience required; capability to work on high/low voltage circuitry. Paid overtime and excellent benefits. Regional travel around 40%. Some on-call work required. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.location: Adams, New York job type: Permanent salary: $55,000 - 58,000 per year work hours: 8am to 6pm education: High School responsibilities:
- Responsible for the proper and timely installation of electrical equipment on dairy farms
- Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of the electromechanical equipment
- Drive a service vehicle, and maintain the vehicle and parts/tools needed to complete the job
- Minimum high school degree and strong mathematical aptitude required
- Experience with electrical wiring which is high/low circuitry required
- Welding, fabrication and HVAC abilities a plus, will train on HVAC for the right candidate
- Willingness to travel during the week and be home on weekends and rotate paid on-call
