This candidate will be highly motivated, well organized, and a good decision-maker that works well unsupervised or with a team. The ideal candidate will have GE ControlsST experience with outstanding customer service skills, strong computer literacy, and superb communication skills. Candidates must also be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position. RequirementsThe successful candidate will work closely with customer operations and maintenance managers, I&C engineers, and SGES Field Installation Technicians. Interpret drawings & schematics, access ToolboxST configurations and assist with migrations, rip & replaces, and the subsequent commissioning of new components.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical and/or 3 years of experience without formal degree, in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation/ commissioning.
  • Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement.
  • Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of turbine generator equipment and site accountabilities is required.
Desired Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Mark V, Mark VI, VIe controls. Proficient with GE ControlST/ToolBoxST.
  • Experience troubleshooting control system and/or HMI issues.
  • Experience commissioning new control systems after retrofits, upgrades, and rip & replaces.
  • Siemens and/or Mitsubishi controls software a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, for you will be working in/around customer control rooms.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work alone, while remaining a team player. Positive, well-organized, proactive force dedicated to customer satisfaction. Courteous and cordial to our customers.
  • Be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
