Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Field Laborer to assist with various physical tasks in outdoor settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment and will possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, to assist the lead on a Communications construction project.
- Support skilled workers in various tasks, including digging, clearing, and construction activities.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment and job site, including but not limited to hand digging, drilling in wood, metal, and concrete, installing ground material, pulling wire through conduit
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Previous experience in labor or construction is a plus, but not required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
- May require standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
