Kodak is truly a place where you can have influence.As a Field Machinist you will be responsible for the following duties:* Machinists are required to repair, maintain, install, and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (including pumps, agitators, fans, centrifuges, etc.).* Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment.* Execute preventive maintenance program.* Calibrate, align, and adjust production equipment.* Work hours are Mon. - Fri., 8-hour days (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime.* Longer term could be 24/7 coverage (Fireman's rotation - two 12-hour days, two 12-hour nights, 4 days rest)* Available for call in on off hours as needed to make equipment repairs.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools.Qualifications include:* HS diploma* Field machinist or millwright training and demonstrated experience.* Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment.* Able to work in confined spaces.* Able to work from heights from a ladder or man lift.* Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills.* Able to read and interpret mechanical/machine drawings.* Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.* Excellent safety record - places safety and environment as top priority in all work* Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out* Effective communication skills - daily communications with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations as needed.* Good collaborator - willing to be flexible, work in other areas and with other trades as needed.Minimum Education Level and experience:2-year schooling and/or 5 plus years of demonstrated experience.EOE Policy Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.Estimated Salary: $25.00 - $31.00Experience Level: 0-5 YearsRequisition ID: 570
