Contract Field Machinist position to support outage work at various sites.Training is done at Westinghouse Manning,South Carolina
- A minimum of two (2) years documented work experience with field machining
- Demonstrated use of portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations as a minimum. CNC operated equipment preferred
- Three (3) years of work experience in a machine shop maybe substituted providing that verification demonstrates the set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
- Five (5) years of verifiable work experience in the trade (Millwright or Pipe fitter) may also be substituted
- Have strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
- Shift work, including overtime, may be required (am/pm)
- Personnel must pass training and be qualified to be assigned to the project
- Valid passport
- Required to successfully complete background check, drug and alcohol screenings
- Observe and adhere to the appropriate industrial safety and health programs
