Job Title: Field Network Technician IIDuration: Full-time roleShift Timings: M-F 8-5Locations: Licking CountyMuskingum CountyPerry CountyFairfield CountyHocking CountyAthens CountyMorgan County Job Responsibilities: Perform IT field technician tasks: driving to client sites and providing general IT support, running break-fix and IMAC calls.Support clients with various technology devices including printers, laptops, servers, and networks.Provide full-service consulting for network LAN, WAN, WLAN, off-site data storage, cabling infrastructure, remote access systems, firewalls, routers, switches, and application management.Setup, install, and maintain wireless routers.Conduct PC refresh tasks, including desktop and laptop replacements.Maintain good customer focus, meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).Travel to each client's location.Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.Work under general supervision.Overtime may be required. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, and printers.3+ years of customer service experience.Experience with CAT5/CAT6 network cabling routing, termination, and testing.Ability to install conduit/wiremold for optimal cable management.Experience with IT rack installation (patch panel, switch, firewall, router, NVR, power supplies).Reliable transportation (this is a driving position, reimbursed accordingly).Able to work weekends, staggered or late shifts, possibly including evenings and/or weekends.Personable and able to interact with a wide range of users and environments.Capable of working on a ladder or lift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.After training, candidates will be added to the on-call rotation 7x24.Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position.Smartphone with tethering/hotspot capabilities.Laptop and basic hand tools.Possess a valid driver's license.
