- Maintaining spiritual disciplines for personal and ministry growth
- Modeling wisdom and maturity in the balance of family, church, and ministry life
Financial Administration- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
Schedule Management- Coordinate and manage the schedule of the area team, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team, addressing any scheduling conflicts or issues.
- Track and report on team activities, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Purchase and report travel expenses through Workday
Ministry Partner Development and Fundraising- Plan and execute strategies for developing and nurturing relationships with ministry partners and potential donors.
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial goals.
- Prepare and present proposals, reports, and updates to key stakeholders and partners.
Leadership Development- Engage in ongoing leadership development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Participate in UTEP and national LaFe leadership programs, contributing insights and learnings to the team.
- Actively seek mentorship and guidance to support career growth and progression within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS- Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Faith
- Strong evidence of high Emotional Intelligence competency
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
- Proven 3 years of experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and experience in schedule management and team coordination.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing fundraising initiatives and building relationships with donors and partners.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Previous participation in leadership development programs, particularly UTEP and national LaFe, is highly desirable.
Organizational and Project Management Skills- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Workday, Staff Portal, and financial software, including, Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay Range: $18.89 - $25.19 per hourPay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.
