We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position for 12 months.
What You'll Do
Meet with customers to compile, identify and determine job specifications needed to develop new processes, update and modify or correct existing programs and systems
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of PC hardware and desktop software, such as MS Office, Anti-Virus, etc
Provide expert level escalation and technical leadership
Support and maintain all customers software and systems, including servers, workstations and software
Provide support for Microsoft operating systems (i.e. Office 365 and Google Apps for Government)
Perform system maintenance activities through error reports, user modification requests and system problems.
Assist users with setting up and operating workplace mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Windows Tablets)
Learn and Support MAC Laptops/PCs (on a limited basis)
What You'll Need
3 years of experience in Field Technician Support
Desktop & laptop support
Handheld devise support
Networking and Software support
Peripheral support and Telephone support
CAT5 installation experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
