Job Description:
At International Auto Processing LLC, the Field Team Supervisor - Night Shift is responsible for overseeing the Field Department for individual accounts, including supervision of personnel vehicle movements, and disposition to load lines; in depth knowledge of account procedures; and accountability for meeting specified production goals.Essential Duties:
  • Communicate with Field Manager, as necessary to gather information regarding daily processing goals, priority orders and employee performance.
  • Based on projected workload, ensure quality work, timely completion, and the most efficient utilization of staffing.
  • Communicate work assignments to Drivers and Scanners and monitor progress toward completion throughout the night.
  • Adjust work assignments as necessary to accommodate the needs of the Production Shop and other Departments.
  • Keep work crew advised of changing priorities and assignments.
  • Plan vehicle movements in a manner that results in minimal wait time for Driver's and consolidate movement whenever necessary.
  • Trouble shoot as needed to facilitate the processing of damaged units or other units requiring special attention.
  • Provide orientation to new employees or temporary service employees regarding proper vehicle handling procedures, time keeping procedures, hazard communication standards and safe work practices.
  • Provide guidance to crew members on an ongoing basis regarding changing work procedures, safety precautions, etc.
  • Provide feedback to employees regarding performance.
  • Conduct counseling sessions with employees regarding performance deficiencies and/or failure to abide by established procedures and safe work practices.
  • Keep Field Manager advised of any performance problems.
  • Serve as a role model to other employees in both work performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Promote the goal of safety and the prevention of on-the-job accidents resulting in injury to employees and property.
  • Ensure a spotter is present when backing up vehicles.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 1:00am
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • 6+ months experience in Field Department including working knowledge of specific account procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented.
Physical Working Attributes:
  • Long periods of sitting while driving a vehicle.
  • Repeatedly get in and out of a vehicle during the work shift
  • Step up approximately 18 inches into an open van.
  • Work exposed to outdoor elements including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, and or other conditions
