This position is responsible for the preparation of installation and restoration of fiber to the home (FTTH). This may include but is not limited to, prepping the wire from the terminal to the home, laying a temporary cable into the ground, flagging it or marking it, which may include burial of the wire (using a shovel or other appropriate equipment). In home WIFI analysis with the customer(s).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned preparation of the wire in accordance with established codes, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Customer education of streaming services using Amazon firestick, Roku, or equivalent.
  • Complete and adhere to all necessary safety training, standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure vehicle has the proper equipment to complete assigned work (CPE, installation materials, tools, and test equipment).
  • Focus on meeting or exceeding individual and team objectives and key customer success metrics.
  • Interact with the customer to educate and negotiate the proper placement of the wireless router; ensures the customer is satisfied with the work performed. Responds to inquiries and provides follow-up.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
