Summary:

The Field Project Ambassador is responsible for generating leads, maintaining positive relationships with customers and subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and service on all projects. This role involves visiting project sites, engaging with homeowners, assisting with project start-ups, and providing detailed feedback to enhance the company's performance. The Ambassador must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead Generation & Relationship Building:

* Visit neighborhoods with active projects to canvass for potential leads, identifying homes with visible storm damage or potential needs.

* Engage homeowners one-on-one to explain the value of the company's products and services, ensuring they understand the benefits and potential of the offered solutions.

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they receive timely updates and feel supported.

* Leave promotional material at homes where direct contact was not possible, ensuring continuous brand visibility.

* Project Monitoring, Support & Coordination:

* Accompany the Project Manager to job sites, assist with initial project specifications, and confirm measurements and materials provided by the Estimator.

* Monitor the progress of projects by visiting sites regularly, communicating with work crew leaders, and addressing any issues that could impact project timelines.

* Perform final inspections of completed projects, document outcomes, and ensure all details are communicated back to the Project Manager and other relevant teams.

* Take detailed photos of project sites before, during, and after work to document progress and craftsmanship, ensuring accurate records are kept.

* Insurance Coordination & Damage Assessment:

* Perform inspections for storm damage, complete necessary scope sheets for roofing, siding, and interiors, and upload all required documentation to the CRM system.

* Assist in on-site meetings with insurance adjusters, providing ladder assistance if needed, and ensuring all interactions and findings are documented in CRM.

* Manage and coordinate the collection of shingle and siding samples, ensuring all samples are promptly delivered to the Insurance Coordinator for processing.

* On-Site Management & Assistance:

* Manage project start-ups by arriving early, placing G. Fedale signs, introducing the crew to the homeowner, and reviewing all job details with both parties.

* Ensure that any additional work identified during the project is communicated to both the customer and the Project Manager, with appropriate documentation provided by 2 pm on the day of identification.

* Complete and/or Assist crew with repairs, tarping, and other on-site needs as necessary, ensuring that all actions are documented with photos and uploaded to the CRM.

* Customer Engagement, Payment Collection & Feedback:

* Proactively engage with homeowners to build rapport, set expectations, and ensure they feel supported throughout the project.

* Collect payments at designated milestones, address any issues promptly, and request positive reviews and referrals upon project completion.

* Provide detailed feedback to management on customer interactions, project challenges, and opportunities for business growth.

* Event Participation & Promotion:

* Plan, organize, and participate in trade/home shows and events that showcase the company's products and services.

* Deliver marketing messages and collect homeowner contact information at events, ensuring that all leads are promptly followed up.

* Provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of events and suggest improvements for future participation.

* Administrative Duties & Reporting:

* Maintain up-to-date records of all activities, including lead generation, project monitoring, and customer interactions, ensuring that data is accurately entered into the CRM system.

* Provide regular updates to management on project status, lead generation outcomes, and customer feedback.

* Complete other tasks as assigned by management, with a focus on continually improving productivity and results.

Requirements:

* Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree or additional training in construction, sales, or customer service is a plus.

* Experience:

* 1-2 years of experience in sales, construction, or customer service roles. Experience in the home building, remodeling, or renovation markets is highly desirable.

* Familiarity with multi-station phone systems, CRM software, and the ability to work with contracts and insurance claims related to construction services.

* Skills:

* Familiarity with using technology such as computers, emails, apps and a service-oriented CRM software.

* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations and provide clear communication to customers, staff, and vendors.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members.

* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and react quickly to changing situations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in basic math and familiarity with construction materials and processes.

* Other Requirements:

* A valid driver's license with no DUIs or restrictions on company-related driving.

* A clean, reliable, and insured personal vehicle for work-related travel.

* Traits such as honesty, integrity, strong time management, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Physical ability to navigate job sites, climb ladders, and lift materials up to 50 pounds.

Physical Demands:

* Ability to walk around office, warehouse, and neighborhood sites.

* Ability to climb and descend a ladder and stairs, work in seated or standing positions for extended periods.

* Ability to drive to and from offsite meetings, manage on-site inspections, climb, navigate, and work on residential and commercial roofs.

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
