Job Description:
About the Role: The Gore Electronics team is seeking a Field Sales Associate with a key focus in applications for the Mobile Electronics and Protective Venting applications. As part of the Electronics Market team you will develop existing accounts and opportunities as well as identifying key target accounts and opportunities in protective venting. You will develop strong relationships with key industry leaders and effectively partner with Global Sales & Marketing Associates to drive the market growth strategy in the sales territory. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States , preferably in the East Coast. Responsibilities:
  • Identify key target accounts in the protective venting markets
  • Identify and drive new targeted opportunities in the sales territory
  • Build a sales funnel of credible opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships at multiple levels within targeted accounts
  • Develop and execute the territory strategy to achieve top line revenue forecast
  • Consultative selling with technically oriented customers and bring the voice of the customer back to the business team
  • Negotiate pricing and long-term contracts
  • Development and attainment of sales forecast for year over year revenue growth
  • Regular, effective communication of customers' unmet needs and market trends with the regional and global teams
  • Provide technical support, with support from the Applications Engineer and Product Specialist Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing, technical selling environment
    • Successful experience in developing new customers, applications, and opportunities
    • Strong technical competence
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong self-starter
    • Ability to utilize Gore sales tools including Salesforce, account plans, call reports and a territory plan to effectively manage the territory
    • Ability & willingness to travel up to 40% Desired Qualifications:
      • Successful experience in selling to large accounts and experience in consultative technical selling
