About the Role: The Gore Electronics team is seeking a Field Sales Associate with a key focus in applications for the Mobile Electronics and Protective Venting applications. As part of the Electronics Market team you will develop existing accounts and opportunities as well as identifying key target accounts and opportunities in protective venting. You will develop strong relationships with key industry leaders and effectively partner with Global Sales & Marketing Associates to drive the market growth strategy in the sales territory.This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States, preferably in the East Coast.Pay and Benefits:$75,000 - $125,000 per yearRoles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics. More details are available at www.gore.com/careers/benefitsResponsibilities: Identify key target accounts in the protective venting marketsIdentify and drive new targeted opportunities in the sales territoryBuild a sales funnel of credible opportunities.Develop strong relationships at multiple levels within targeted accountsDevelop and execute the territory strategy to achieve top line revenue forecast Consultative selling with technically oriented customers and bring the voice of the customer back to the business teamNegotiate pricing and long-term contractsDevelopment and attainment of sales forecast for year over year revenue growthRegular, effective communication of customers' unmet needs and market trends with the regional and global teamsProvide technical support, with support from the Applications Engineer and Product Specialist Required Qualifications: Bachelors DegreeMinimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing, technical selling environment Successful experience in developing new customers, applications, and opportunitiesStrong technical competence Strong verbal and written communications skillsStrong self-starterAbility to utilize Gore sales tools including Salesforce, account plans, call reports and a territory plan to effectively manage the territoryAbility & willingness to travel up to 40%Desired Qualifications: Successful experience in selling to large accounts and experience in consultative technical sellingProven track record growing sales revenue year over yearRemote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
