Professional/Certified - ESC - Other Job Number 000####### Start Date Open Date 04/18/2024 Closing Date Attachments Field Service Agent (Part-time) The primary purpose of the Field Service Agent is to act as liaison, ombudsman and advocate for local school districts in their relationship to the ESC and the TEA. The primary objective is to provide timely, accurate, and consistent informationand assistance between the TEA, ESC and ISD with the local district superintendent as the contact. This position will be responsible for the following:

Participate in the coordination and planning with appropriate Region 2 personnel and/or district representatives in meeting the specific needs ofeach district in Region 2

Provide up-to-date information or training to local personnel regarding developments, initiatives, and priorities at the ESC and state level

Serve as liaison interface to obtain information from the ESC and state level to clarify and/or address questions arising at the local level

Provide and maintain required personal and program documentation in a timely manner

Conduct personal visits and communicate regularly with districts and campuses to determine needs, become familiar with, and provide coordinated assistance

Participate in required program meetings/trainings/events to meet program goals

Perform other duties as assigned

Building/Campus Education Service Center, Region 2 Salary: From 66.44 Salary Type Hourly Additional Job Information Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in education or related field; Master's degree preferred; valid Texas teaching certificate; at least three years successful public school administration; three years of creditable teaching experience or equivalent experience preferred
