Radon is seeking an experienced Field Service Imaging Engineer (FE II or FE III) located in Eastern South Carolina.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in imaging equipment service that can work independently with support as needed from Radon Modality specialist. Experience in Radiology and DR service a must, RF and/or CT service expertise would be a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution, and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including the ordering of parts.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in imaging equipment service.
  • Ability to work independently with support as needed from Radon Modality Specialist.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing medical imaging equipment including:

Multi-Vendor X-ray

Multi-Vendor Ultrasound

Multi-Vendor Rad Fluoroscopy

CT, MR and Cath lab service experience is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
