A manufacturer of machine tools, peripherals, and systems, is looking for Field Service Engineers.This company is one of the largest global manufacturers on CNC and tooling machines. They are looking for Service Engineers in Portland, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area in Northern California.Service Engineers provide customers with maintenance and repair assistance of company machine tools on location or by telephone.Essential job functions:- Creating and updating documentation of technical information- Developing, preparing, generating, and analyzing ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to service- Demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a team member- Provide assistance and training to the customer's service engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines- Establish and build exemplary communication and customer service relationships with customers- Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service You will be the face of the organization. They are looking for strong communicators, with strong troubleshooting abilities. Must be able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics.Base salary, overtime, full benefits, 401k, potential bonus. Company car, travel paid and per diem. 50% overnight travel. Most travel is regional based but be prepared to travel by plane during the week once a while. You will also need a passport as some training is in Europe.
