This team based in Shelton, CT, They are committed to providing the scientific and industrial communities with the most effective, safe, productive, and highest quality instrumentation for microwave digestion, microwave extraction, microwave assisted synthesis, direct mercury determination, microwave ashing, and terpene processing.Travel is roughly 2-3 overnight stays per week. They are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to support clients in their New England region (CT, RI, MA, NY, VT, NH & ME) with quality customer service and support. The Field Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical and service support to the organization's customer base in their primary region and elsewhere as needed. They are looking for a strong problem solver with strong communication skills to represent their company at customer sites.Main responsibilities:- Completing 3-5 work orders per week (14-18 per month)- New unit installations and customer application training- Preventative maintenance services (PM)- Equipment repairsBase salary with a 7% bonus. They provide $500 month car allowance, $750 year maintenance allowance. Low travel, a company credit card to put all gas, tolls, meals, and travel accommodations on (so nothing is out of pocket for the employee). Great benefits and a 401k plan.
